Position Overview:
As an Android Application Developer at Redbite Systems, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality Android applications. Working closely with our cross-functional teams, you will translate requirements into functional, user-friendly applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Develop and maintain Android applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and reliability.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to ensure smooth application operation.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Work with external data sources and APIs.
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and optimize application design and functionality.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices to enhance application development processes.


Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven work experience as an Android Application Developer, preferably 1-2 years.
Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
Strong understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Experience with Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Published one or more Android applications in the Google Play Store.
Experience with performance and memory tuning tools.
